Kathrine Bauck is a composer based in Bergen, with a background in design, graphics, and crafts. She often takes an interdisciplinary approach to her compositions, exploring and incorporating her experiences with craftsmanship. Kathrine finds inspiration in situations, language, philosophy, phenomena, physics, and the laws of nature. Amusement and wonder aroused by these themes is often reflected in her music.

Matias Monsen is a versatile cellist with experience across various genres. He is a member of Ensemble Obsidian, which focuses on newly composed Norwegian contemporary music, as well as the prog/metal band DROTT. Matias juggles many genres and is a highly sought-after session musician. He has collaborated with a wide range of artists, from Kaizers Orchestra and deLillos to Aurora and Sigrid.

Bauck created this film based on excerpts from two films from the Hans Berge collection, "Butterfly Dance performed by Zoraya Hayda, Zoological Garden" and "Images from Morocco - The Chleuh People." These scenes were augmented and woven into a dreamy collage using new AI generated scenes, as well as footage from Bauck's own personal archive.

Hans Berge did not only produce his own films. He also traded for and purchased informative short films, news reports, travel films, and similar works from across Norway and other countries around the world. Berge produced documentary-style current affairs films without interpreting the content. His films were often shown as part of longer film programs or as pre-screenings during the silent film era.

My Love is Like

This is the final part of Alwynne Pritchard's project that started out in March 2020 as "Recorded Delivery". The film is created from extracts submitted after a social media call for contributions.

Pritchard is a British performer, composer, artist, and curator based in Bergen. She has also developed choreography for performances of her own pieces. She is the co-founder of the music-theater company Neither Nor.
