In the tradition of our previous website, we aim to post regular updates on the projects and developments taking place at Wrap. We are also hoping to salvage archived blog posts from the previous site, so that these will continue to serve as online documentation of our activities throughout the many years of Wrap's existence.

As of today, our priority has been to launch a usable and up-to-date site, and the blog is something that will have to be added in the coming weeks.

A new season of productions kicks off with several new tools in the workshop!

We are currently upgrading our workshop for wood and metalwork with new tools, thanks to support from Norsk Kulturråd (Norwegian Arts Council).

The first project to make use of these new tools was NONcompany's production of scenography for their forthcoming new play, KASAK: widunderbaum, which is the last in the company's KASAK trilogy. This new piece will premier at the Bastard theatre festival in Trondheim on the 31st of August, and will then visit the Meteor festival in Bergen (October).

This month Alwynne Pritchard also commissioned flight cases for the new production entitled "The Art of Violin Playing" that were built in our workshop, and next month it will be used by Zarepta Film as well as Happy Gorilla Dance Company.

The new tools include bandsaws for both metal and wood, more clamps (including very long ones) and advanced metal working tools, including a metal brake (for bending sheet metal accurately).
