Bakhage Festivalen 2008 - Possibly the best thing you’ll do this summer!

Velkommen til Bakhagefestivalen 2008 -Støttekonsert/minifestival på Kunsthuset Wrap 20-21 juni -En festival med musikk og sommer-vibe, god mat og brukskunst i Wraps unike lokaler.

Addresse: Ibsensgate 31 (ca 2min fra Bien Bar på Danmarksplass, buss 90 (“Sletten”) stopper like i nærheten)

I sommer arrangerer vi en festival til inntekt for kunsthuset Wrap der vi kan by på mye spennende av lokal musikk og brukskunst. Vi tar i bruk hele arealet vi har til disposisjon og det vil skje ting både innendørs i visningsrommet, i sidehuset, utendørs i “rundingen” og i resten av hagen rundt huset.

Fredagen, fra kl 22.00 til kl 02.30, byr vi på tekno-kveld i visningsrommet med bar og live sets fra Lupo, Thomas Danger og Tilt, i tillegg til DJ Anders G og VJs h220 ogThomas Sivertsen. Lørdagen inviterer vi til en hel dag med musikkopplevelser, brukskunstmarked, catering fra Bien Bar, og bar i Wraps bakhage. Både barn og voksne vil finne noe som passer for dem! Vi åpner opp sidehuset for dem som vil nyte musikken under tak, men satser på fint vær og god stemning ved scenen i “rundingen”!

Det blir live musikk fra kl 13.00 til kl 23.00, før vi beveger oss inn i Wraps visningsrom for festival-nachspiel med særdeles dansbar musikk fra DJ Fusa

Artister/band som spiller er; Julian Berntzen, Ophelia Hope, Mari Brunvoll, The New Wine, The Micropops, Poets, È Capito, Sonja Otto, Automat Piss Tool, Proktofantasmic, Cederberg og kanskje noen overraskelser…

Vibeke Korsnes vil vise sin billedkunst fra bl. a Wrap og Danmarksplass i visningsrommet både fredag og lørdag.

Prisene blir: Endagspass kr.100,- , og begge dagene kr.150,-

Welcome to “Bakhagefestivalen” 2008 -Benefit gig for Wrap Arts Centre (June 20th-21st) -A festival of music and summer vibes, good food and arts & crafts in the unique outdoor space at Wrap arts centre (about 2min from Bien Bar at Danmarksplass, bus no.90 (“Sletten”) stops nearby).

We are arranging a benefit-gig for Wrap Arts Centre this Summer, and are presenting many exiting local bands/artists and some beautiful arts and crafts. We are utilizing the whole area in and around the Arts Centre, and there will be events happening in the main venue, the side-house, outside in the “circle” as well as in the rest of the gardens surrounding the house. On Friday 20th we´re presenting a night of techno in Wraps main venue with live sets from Lupo, Thomas Danger and Tilt. In addition we´ve got sets from DJ Anders G og VJsh220 and Thomas Sivertsen.. The time for this event is 10.00pm - 02.30am. On Saturday 21st we´re having a whole day of musical experiences, arts and crafts market, catering by Bien Bar as well as bar in the back-garden of Wrap (from 1pm- 11pm), before moving into the main venue for the festival after-party with DJ Fusa. Children are welcome during the outdoor-event! The side-house will be open during the day for those who want to chill indoors while listening to the music, but we are hoping for sunshine and a great athmosphere in front of our stage in the “circle”! Artists/bands playing on Saturday are; Julian Berntzen, Ophelia Hope, Mari Brunvoll, The New Wine, The Micropops, Poets, È Capito, Sonja Otto, Automat Piss Tool, Proktofantasmic, Cederberg and maybe some surprises… Vibeke Korsnes is exhibiting work in the main venue from Wrap and Danmarksplass on both Friday and Saturday. The prices are: One day pass 100,-NOK, and for both days 150,-NOK
