mixed media event in old gass rewin

This weekend, we are proud to present a mixed-media event in the unique circular foundation where there once stood a telescopic gass storage tower in our garden at Wrap. The project is a colabouration between the Danish sculpter Malene Pedersen and Norwegian choreography/visual art unit Underberg Herbgirl Dancegarden. Both have masters degrees in visual art from Bergen Academy of Art.

Having collabourated in creating an opening event for the Wrap arts centre in 2003, where UHDG and Pedersen already made creative use of the old gass-tower foundation, they are now taking this work up again with renewed inspiration, and project support from the Norwegian Arts Council and Bergen Council. This site-specific event combines dance and sculpture.
