Ophelia Hope at Second Home Cinema
Ingrid Mjanger & Paul Holden of Ophelia Hope
Sunday the 4th of March was an emotional Second Home Cinema with Italian flavours at Wrap.
The evening began as people settled down with a good, wholesome bowl of minestrone (meaty or veggie) to a beautiful and intimate performance of recent songs from Ophelia Hope. Although this was a “striped down” version of the band, with singer Ingrid Mjanger and guitarist/song writer (and backing vocals) Paul Holden, there were good vibes all around and the audience was captivated. Following the concert came the Italian film classic: Cinema Paradiso, which made a great continuation in terms of mood. We were also able to hear a few rough-mixes of the material from Ophelia Hopes forthcoming album. This cosy little program was put together with a real sense of wholeness and must be said to have been one of the most successful Second Home Cinema events so far.
