Two Short Works

The above picture shows a scene from the performance: “Byen jeg kommer fra… eller, jorden ler av den som kaller et sted sitt eget” by the Underberg herbgirl dancegarden, which could be seen in the old gass-tower foundation at Wrap between the 15th and 17th of June.

In association with an international celebration of South African author Bessie Head, who would have been 70 this year, ‘The Kitchen Theatre’ and ‘the underberg herbgirl dancegarden’ show their individual interpretations of Head’s novel ‘Summer Sun’ at Wrap.

‘Reaching through’ is ‘The Kitchen Theatres’ theatre based interpretation of the novel. ‘Mirroring with Careful and Rain’ is the underberg herbgirl dancegardens interdisciplinary interpretation. The individual works will be shown back to back on Saturday the 7th of July at 8 o’clock and Sunday the 8th of July at 2 o’clock
