Along with our experience as artists, an important aspect of Wrap’s success has been Leo Preston’s technical understanding of light, sound and other AV technology. This comes from a long history of learning and working as a technician for institutions, festivals, artists and groups in Norway and elsewhere.

Having played a critical role in supporting interdisciplinary art production for 20 years, we are very conscious of the important role that technical skills and best practices play in this field.

In 2020 Wrap launched a 1 year technical training program. This took the form of a paid engagement for one candidate, based on 2 days a week and we called it an internship. We hope to expand this to an incubator program with an even more substantial reach through extensive collaboration with other partners and institutions.
