Celebrating 20 years
Wrap opened on the 8th of March 2003 in Ibsensgate, after two years of voluntary renovation work. The original address consisted of a main building, and outhouse, and a large garden/outdoor area. Many very different projects were conceived, realised, affected by and made possible in that place over the six years that Wrap existed there.
In 2009 the Wrap project...

Thank you Sven Åge

Sven Åge and Teatergarasjen have been hugely inspirational for our work, as they have been for so many others. Teatergarasjen is in fact the most important reason why we as young artists based ourselves in Bergen.
Sven Åge has been a constant support since the start, when he was responsible for so much of the warm and inviting atmosphere at Nøstegaten 10,...
Interdisciplinary Workflow

Wrap is all about interdisciplinary workflow. Many...

It has become a tradition that some of the summer holiday period is dedicated to upgrades at Wrap, and this year is no exception. The primary focus...
Etchings of Coastal Sites
The ocean is an event not an object, it's composed of an infinite number of tiny swells that create its roaring voice or its subdued murmur. The coastal formation is in a dialogue with the tide, the seas waining pull back and its fierce assault carve away the topography of the lands edges. This installation is an audio/visual collaboration between four local...
